About Robin Q. Daumit

Robin Q. Daumit grew up in a family of sisters. Her mother had already entered the field of cosmetology by the time Robin was a young girl. Beauty treatments and homemade remedies became “play time” in her home of all women.

By the age of sixteen, Robin was already licensed as an apprentice in her mother’s full-service beauty salon, became fully licensed, and had a well-developed clientele by the age of eighteen.

Having gathered experience working in the nation's capital and New York, she developed her repertoire in: design, color specialist, and esthetician. Her positions ranged from salon manager to runway model artist and theatre makeup/hair artist. Her desire to leave the limelight and work in a more intimate setting with her clients became the driving factor that directed her to branch off on her own.

During the twenty-five years Robin spent raising her four children, and caring for the needs of the clients in her salon, Robin still made time to study the varied aspects that she believed encompassed a woman’s total beauty: nutrition, physical fitness, natural medicine, and sociology, just to name a few.

The vast areas of personal development that enabled Robin to embrace herself as a total woman fill the pages of her first published book. My Essence is being offered to her readers with the desire to continue to enhance the total beauty of women through a book she believes will inspire women to have ‘A Love Affair With Themselves.’ She offers many aids on her website in order to make this journey a more personal one.

Two of her unpublished books are underway to make their début in the near future: Celebrating Relationships At Table, and Dynasty Denied.
